I've been moving too fast these past two weeks, trying to find a nanny to take care of the littles two and half days a week. I have been enjoying a little too many neighborhood events like Santa's workshop, book-club, and ladies gift exchange. It's time to reel it all back in and just knit by the fire.
There is so much knitting to do by next Friday, because I unfortunately discovered too late, that there is a correction to the pattern I am using for the kids' gift. Specifically, about three hours worth of knitting too late.
And as you all can deduce, 120 stolen minutes around here is quite a bit to have gone to waste. BUT, it is a reminder to STOP and walk away, to lower my expectations, and see clearly that 'a perfect Christmas' is right there in front of me. It is often hidden in little moments of the whirling day, but it is there. Always.
So, tomorrow (night) there will be a posting that shows off our home's Christmas nooks. Plus some funny photos of Porkchop's opinion of rice cereal and mashed bananas. That little man is full of funny faces.
